Poetry: ‘This is Just to Say’ by William Carlos Williams

Today is the start of a busy week, so for our poem today, I wanted something short and punchy. William Carlos Williams, the American poet, serves up just such a treat in his well-known poem ‘This is Just to Say’.

I mention in today’s video that this will be a busy week, so fewer video updates, added to the fact is I have a fairly strong form of hayfever and tree pollen (my nemisis) is powerful just now. I do take antihistamines, but even the non-drowsy sort wipe me out. Not too bad in the greater scheme of things, I realise!

I hope you enjoy today’s poem from the Red Shed! The image, by the way, is a caricature of William Carlos Williams!
